Spring has definitely sprung in Sheffield. Today it was rather warm, poking 20 Degrees and full sun. So after work it was a visit up the back garden to play around with my macro lens and depth of field.

Having a fun day so far! I think this is the first time since before Christmas that we’ve had a family day. So we went for a walk in the allotments and the woods at the back of the house to while away an hour or two (Kids go Gruffalo hunting, daddy goes photographing, mummy keeps watchful eye on everyone). A generally pleasing set of shots I think today.

Archer Lane Farm, Sheffield (26/365)
Not quite sure if I have the name of the farm buildings correct or not. This is the farm that I referred to in a previous post, taken from the right of way that I mentioned. A lot has happened in this area over the past 100 years or so. This farm used to be surrounded by (funnily enough) farm land, now it is allotments and a mixture of Victorian and 1940′s style housing. Just out of shot on the left was another farm – Edge End (the remains of which I am forever digging out of my veg patch).
Completely clagged in today so its dull, dull dull in Sheffield. This is a 5 shot pano, taken on my Canon G10 and stitched in Photoshop CS5
