A couple of mobile phone shots on my Desire HD.

Started the day with a quick shot out the back door of a run down stable in Studfold, near Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Yorkshire Dales. The roof appears to be made of two complete slabs of rock. A building built to last.

Speaking of which we went up to Ribbleshead to do our walk to day. Out under the viaduct through a farm and back up to the Settle Carlisle with a stop for lunch and an opportunity to let the kids play in a river. RAF jet and prop trainers flying overhead adding to the kid’s excitement.

Ribblesdale in the morning.

After getting woken very early by Thing 1. I forced myself out of bed and ventured out in to a bright and surprisingly frosty morning in Ribblesdale. Lots of birds singing and some housemartins (?) swooping low over the fields. I really wish I knew my birds so that I could appreciate them and their song all the better.

Didn’t walk far, just down to the river and I couldn’t resist this shot of Pen-y-Ghent (do I need that ‘h’?). So much so, that I got the XPAN and the 40D out.

Champagne Billecart Brut Rose and Olives , St Pancras Station, London (35/365)

A mobile phone photograph from Friday of a glass of Champagne Billecart Brut Rose and  a bowl of olives.  The last time I had a glass of this was on the first anniversary  of my engagement to my now wife.

Converted in to black and white, with some extra grain added (to hide the camera shake!)

25/365 – Saint Pancras Station in Black and White

REALLY annoyed with myself.  Brought my Canon G10 and monopod down to London today to take a photograph of Saint Pancras on the way home from the London office.  Shame I forgot to put the  memory card back in it….

So here’s one shaky photograph, sexed up a bit in Photoshop,  from my mobile phone instead.
